Hello creative wonderbeing!
Iām Ellie Chaney - an artist and creativity coach with 15 years experience in sharing the creative process with thousands of people.
Iām also a highly sensitive and neurodivergent creative who understands the challenges of being a sensitive artist. But with this experience Iāve come to see my sensitivity as one of my biggest strengths.
Iāve been a self-employed artist since 2009 and my own journey has included:
- Working as a full time artist, sharing my own artwork through exhibitions, residencies, funded projects and through selling work online.
- Gaining qualifications in art up to MA level, in counselling skills, as a teacher and trainer for people aged 16+ in the arts and creativity coaching.
- Working as a creative practitioner teaching art and craft subjects for people of all ages including in formal education, community and adult education, for museums, galleries and arts organisations.
My mission is to support multi-passionate, deep-feeling creatives to embrace who they truly are, find approaches that align with their unique personality, and build trust in their own creative process. Together, weāll help you bring to life the work that deeply resonates with you, in a way that understands your diverse interests, amazing curiosity and powerful emotional depth.

Who is this event for?
This event is for creative people who identify as a Weird Sister and who have multiple passions and interests, particularly those who are multi-passionate, deep-feeling and super sensitive. If you love exploring new creative ideas but feel overwhelmed trying to manage them all, this is the perfect space for you. Whether youāre an artist, writer, maker, or creative in any form, you'll find inspiration, support, and practical tools here.
Do I need to be āwitchyā or into the supernatural to join?
Not at all! While the event uses fun, witchy themes to celebrate empowerment and creativity itās designed to be inclusive and playful. The magic we create together is rooted in your passion for creativity, connection, and self-expression. You can embrace the theme as much or as little as you like (and you are welcome to come dressed in your most magical attire!).
Iām nervous about sharing my creative struggles with others. Will I have to speak up?
I completely understand that sharing personal experiences can feel vulnerable. While there will be opportunities for you to share if you feel comfortable, thereās no pressure to speak up if you prefer to listen and reflect. You are welcome to engage in a way that feels right for you.
What if Iām not sure what my creative passion is yet?
Thatās okay! The Weird Sisters Creative Coven is designed to help you explore your creative desires and gain clarity on what excites you. Through the fun divination and goal-setting activities, youāll get a clearer sense of your passions and how to follow them.
What materials will I need for the event?
Youāll need a few simple materials:
A printed copy of the creativity oracle cards (which will be sent to you before the event).
A journal or some paper for writing down your reflections and goals.
Pens or markers (and any other creative tools youād like to have on hand).
Some ribbon or string for the closing ritual.
What happens if I canāt attend live?
I usually offer replays to make my events as accessible as possible, however this one is a bit different. I think you do need to attend live to get the most out of the event and connect with the community. However, if youāre unable to attend, please email me at info(at)eleanorchaney.com and we can explore a replay option if itās essential for you.
How do I join the event?
Once you register, youāll receive a confirmation email. The Zoom link will be sent out to you at least one hour before the event. On the day of the event, simply click the link to join the session. Youāll also receive a reminder email the day before for muddle-minded witches like myself!
Can I join if I donāt live in the UK?
Absolutely! The event is hosted online, so you can join from anywhere in the world. Just be sure to check the time zone difference so you donāt miss the start. The event is scheduled for 4pm BST in UK time. Donāt get tripped up by the fact that the timezone changes to GMT the next day!
