Learning these 5 essential skills has had a huge impact on my creative life, enabling me to run a coaching business and continue my own art practice alongside parenting! But I’d never pretend to be a super human who has it all sorted because I’m definitely not (and some days I’m tiiiirred!).

But I honestly believe without these skills there’s no way any of this could have happened, and that’s why I want to create an affordable way for other creatives to find support so they can start using them too.

What’s Included

There are five workshops in the ā€˜Making It Happen’ series - Each workshop can be booked separately and you can attend as many or as few as you like! Each workshop includes:

1 x 90-minute Live Workshop

In these workshops you’ll introduced to the essentials you need to know to get started, with actionable steps you can take right away. You’ll also be guided through exploring what could come next, and understanding how this all aligns with your creative intentions and future plans.

Unlimited Access To The Replay

Watch the replay for as long as you need, allowing you to make changes step-by-step without feeling overwhelmed. For those who can’t make it live you’ll also be able to watch the workshop through the replay (though I do recommend coming to the live event if you can!).

1 Month Access To Ongoing Chat Support

Once you’ve had a chance to process everything you learned in the workshop, these Voxer sessions led by Ellie will offer further support, self accountability and the space to ask your specific questions.*

WHY WORK WITH ME?

Hello creative whirlwind, I’m Ellie!

I’m an artist and creativity coach and I believe that multi-passionate creativity is amazing! In my own creative practice I am endlessly curious and inspired by the everyday magic of making things.

As a coach, I empower multi-passionate, deep-feeling makers and artists to create the work that matters most to them. I help my clients live in ways that align with their values while finding joy, fun, and meaning in the creative process.

My coaching approach is responsive to the needs of neurodivergent and super sensitive people, informed by over 15 years experience of navigating the creative industries as a neurodivergent ADHD creative myself.

I’ve been a self-employed artist since 2009 and my own journey has included:

- Working as a full time artist, sharing my own artwork through exhibitions, residencies, funded projects and through selling work online.

- Gaining qualifications in art up to MA level, in counselling skills, as a teacher and trainer for adults in the arts and creativity coaching.

- Working as a creative practitioner teaching art and craft subjects for people of all ages including in formal education, community and adult education, for museums, galleries and arts organisations.

- Sharing the creative process for over 15 years and working with thousands of people along the way!

My mission is to empower multi-passionate creative whirlwinds to bring their many ideas to life without overwhelm.

MY STORY

Like most multi-passionate neurodivergent artists, the business side of my career did not come easily to me. Over the years I invested a lot of time, energy and money into projects that I believed were the ā€˜one’ I was going to focus on long term.

Through understanding and accepting my multi-passionate creativity I was able to build a practice and find approaches to my work that allowed me to keep up my many interests while completing big projects I could be proud of, for example…

I’ve created solo exhibitions of my paper art and illustrations inspired by the natural world.

I’ve received funding for my own community arts projects.

I completed a year of funded research and development.

I trained as a creativity coach and built my own creativity coaching business.

And I’ve found ways to continue to develop my other passions such as sewing, circus, music, zoology and history and parenting my two children.

I believe that multi-passionate creativity is amazing, but in this specialism obsessed society we aren’t offered the support we need to thrive. To change that I’m creating a community of multi-passionate wonderbeings who are showing that world that it is possible to have many creative interests and still make meaningful work as an artist joyfully and without burnout.

FAQs

Do I need to attend the workshops live?

Live attendance is encouraged so you can ask questions and get real-time support, but don’t worry if you can’t make every session - replays will be available for all paid participants.


What if I’m not tech-savvy?

I understand that feeling overwhelmed by the technical side of these skills can be a challenge, and it’s one I’ve not only overcome myself but supported clients to navigate too. In the workshops I’ll present different paths you could take depending on how much you want to engage with the tech yourself, and everyone who attends a workshop will be given a bonus resource ā€˜Overcome The Tech Overwhelm’ to help you too.

How much time do I need to commit?

Each workshop includes a 90-minute live session, access to the replay, and a PDF action guide with one month follow-up group chat support. This means you can follow the steps at your own pace, and the group chat support is there to help you both start taking action right away, and to stay on track towards your goal.

Will I get personalised support?

You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions in the live workshop call, and to ask for support for a month after this in the group chat support. This guidance will be around identifying what your goals are, what steps you can take to meet them, understanding the basics of how these skills operate, working out what aligns with your needs and support around mindset. Anything that requires a deeper level of support will be best met by booking a 1:1 call with me.

Please note, while I can support you on the strategy and inform you on specific approaches used in creative business, I cannot offer specific technical support on how to make something work, how to use code etc because I don’t use every platform or software myself! I can help you to work through the tech overwhelm, but I can’t give you tech tutorials! Everyone who attends a workshop will also be given a bonus resource ā€˜Overcome The Tech Overwhelm’ to help too.

How will the group chat support work?

After the live workshop I’ll invite you to a group on the free app Telegram specifically for that workshop. You’ll be able to ask questions whenever you want and if others in the group want to offer support they will be able to. However, I will check the group for two sessions each week were you’ll be able to get more immediate answers and we can chat in more depth.

Can I book a 1:1 call for extra support?

Yes! You’ll have the option to add on a private call with me for personalised support around mindset, overwhelm, or any specific challenges you’re facing at a reduced fee.

What if I have more than one creative passion or business idea?

These workshops have been made for people just like you! Every workshop is designed specifically for multi-passionate creatives. I won’t just tell you to choose one thing or pick just one path to follow indefinitely. You’ll learn how to find ways to show, share and sell your multi-passionate creativity in alignment with your passions and values.

How do I access the workshop materials and replays?

All materials, PDF guides, and replays will be emailed to you after each session. You’ll have lifetime access to revisit them whenever you need.

Can I get a refund if I purchase the full workshop programme, but can’t attend a session?

There are replays available for all workshops, and you’ll be sent the materials by email so refunds can’t be offered to people who cannot attend one more session.

Is there a refund policy?

Due to the digital nature of this program and and it’s materials, all sales are final and non-refundable. All purchases will be refunded in the event that I am unable to run the sessions. Please be sure you’re committed and the workshops are right for you before enrolling.
